‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.’ (Jeremiah 33:3) May we have ears to hear and a heart open to respond to God's answers as they come. This is the best prayer we can pray at times, since we find ourselves struggling to hear and lacking in our obedience on more than an occasional basis. God's message to use today - call. His response to us - answers. Do we always get the answers in the timing we expect them to come? Not always. Do we always get the answer we think God will give us? Not always. Does that mean we stop calling on his name? Nope. It means we listen all that more intently, so we don't miss what he is about to do! God delights in telling us what he is about to do, but he also takes great joy in showing us what he has already done and will continue to do when we trust him with our future. The future ...
