Pentecost - are you ready?
1-4 When the Feast of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Without warning there was a sound like a strong wind, gale force—no one could tell where it came from. It filled the whole building. Then, like a wildfire, the Holy Spirit spread through their ranks, and they started speaking in a number of different languages as the Spirit prompted them. (Acts 2:1-4) As we begin to explore the happenings on that first New Testament Pentecost day, we will see that the disciples were gathered together in one place. There is something that happens when God's people gather together. By the very experience of being together in on accord - no emphasis on differences, no focus on the inadequacies of each other, but simply being content to gather in his name, united in their worship - there is a door opened to heaven like no other time.
