It is time to come out of hiding

Can anyone hide from me in a secret place? Am I not everywhere in all the heavens and earth?” says the  Lord .   ( Jeremiah 23:24   NLT ) As kids, we played that all-time favorite of kids everywhere - hide and seek. Someone would be tagged "it", cover their eyes, and count to 100 while all the others would scurry off into "secret hiding places". The goal was to not be discovered - you wanted the "best" hiding place ever. This might have worked well in those "fun and games" times of our youth, but as we got older, the game of hiding wasn't always followed by someone seeking to uncover our hiding places! Into adulthood, our hiding places just got a little more "sophisticated" and we aren't as much "physically" hiding as it is we are hiding things emotional and a little harder to conceal! A single day in your courts   is better than a thousand anywhere else!  I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God   than live the good life in the homes of the wicked.   For the  Lord  God is our sun and our shield.    He gives us grace and glory.  The  Lord  will withhold no good thing  from those who do what is right.  O  Lord  of Heaven’s Armies,  what joy for those who trust in you .  (Psalm 84:10-12 NLT) No good thing goes undiscovered when we are walking in the presence of the Most High God. In fact, whatever we most need is discovered as we lean into his presence and allow his presence to really "get into" us. Yes, God indwells us, but sometimes we forget to really "breathe" - resting in his presence, allowing him to be all we need for the moment.
