His 'rightful place'

But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit. (Jeremiah 17:7-8) Trust in the Lord - the basis of all blessings. Make the Lord your hope and confidence - the source of all protection. Plant yourself like a tree - firmly rooted in Christ Jesus and immovable. Trials will come - your trust isn't in the circumstance, but in the Lord God Almighty. Stay green - stay growing. Never stop producing fruit - it is evidence you are well-rooted and well-connected. If we are trusting in our own plan, or our own strength to pull us through tough circumstances, we might as well give into them right now.
